Prosperity Scriptures and the Life Anybody Can Enjoy

Do you sincerely think God wants you to be prosperous? And I don’t mean to say rich in spiritual goodness – that’s already a given. I mean do you think that God wants you to be living a life of overflowing wealth and good health? Well the truth of the matter is that He does. Abundance and prosperity is not a evil desire, it has its history in the Bible. You will in fact find prosperity scriptures from the Old and New Testament books verify this to be true.

You will notice that most of God’s most favored persons have in their possession not only immense wealth but also a a name of great worth. Abraham was known to have such a large quantity of herds, cattle and male and female servants that he and his nephew had to separate because the land they were staying in is not able to sustain both of their families and flocks. Abraham’s beloved wife Sarah was so stunning that she received the attention of the King of the land they were staying in – and this was when she was 90 years of age! What is she doing and where can we find it, right? You see, this is God’s abundance in surplus.

Another story of supernatural prosperity is Joseph. We all know his story, things did not go well with this special individual. He was sold by his brothers, unjustly thrown in prison, forgotten by someone who owed him a favor – who could imagine he’d eventually be the prime minister of Egypt? God did. Joseph was given a dream of this awesome future as a young boy and even with the impossibilities that he met, God delivered him. Is this your life story? Did you use to have a dream of a good life but the hardships that seem to find you at every station seemed to be too much to endure? Do not lose hope. It is God’s desire to see your dream come true.

Now you’re beginning to see it too, God’s will is to see His people blessed. But that was centuries ago and He was only talking about the Jewish people – that has no relevance in my life. Research the Gospels and the Epistles closely and you will learn that these precious promises concerns you as well. Abraham is the known father of Faith, so all who believe are beneficiaries of the promise. That is why when God told Abraham many centuries ago: ‘I will bless you and make your name great; I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And through you all families on the earth shall be blessed’ (Genesis 12:2-3) – if you have faith, you can have it.

Many people make a mistake in this because there are scriptural verses that give the impression that being needy is a God mandated state to be in. This is a misinformed belief because God draws on prosperity as a natural consequence to those who look to obey Him.

1 Chronicles 22:13

Then you will prosper, if you are careful to follow the statutes and the ordinances which the LORD commanded Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid nor be dismayed.

Prosperity scriptures are managed with the wise advice of not making money your master, and giving kindly to the less privileged than you. All When you put everything in perspective, there can be no more doubts about God’s supreme will about your personal abundance.
